Success in the rehabilitation process requires adherence to a well-thought-out rehabilitation plan and a lot of patience, commitment and perseverance. Although there are symptoms of inflammation in the condition, such as (swelling, local heat, redness, and pain), recent studies consider this condition a direct result of a biomechanical disorder due to the inability of the tendon to adapt to the load it is exposed to.
